The 27th Chicago Irish Film Festival is coming this Feb-March

The Chicago Irish Film Festival has never treated Irish cinema as a postcard. In its 27th year, the festival continues to favor films that argue with history, poke at myth, and linger on the quiet aftermath of big decisions. Running February 26 through March 1 at AMC New City, with an online edition extending through March 8, the 27th CIFF once again balances intimacy and ambition, pairing major award contenders with smaller films that hum with lived experience.

Post-screening Q&As and filmmaker appearances are woven into the experience, creating space for reflection that continues beyond the screen. At CIFF, conversation isn’t an add-on. It’s part of how the films are meant to be encountered. Don't miss your chance to experience thought-provoking films!
